BETHANY RUSSELL

Bethany holds a Bachelor of Music Honours degree from the University of Windsor, and is a registered music teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music.  She also owns Brava Academy of Music and the Performing Arts, a music education studio in Windsor.  She holds a Grade 10 piano certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and is working towards her ARCT certification.  She also has years of experience performing in various church settings on praise and worship teams, as well as serving extensively in children's ministry.  Throughout Bethany's musical career, she has participated actively in music festivals and competitions in both Windsor and Chatham, and over the years has been the recipient of numerous scholarships, awards and placements.  She loves performing, and had the opportunity to perform Haydn's Piano Concerto in D with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra in January 2018.  She also debuted with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's String Trio in March 2018, performing a movement of Mozart's Piano Quartet in E Flat.  Bethany is excited to be a member of the staff here and is looking forward to seeing how God uses music at Bethel-Maidstone United Church.
